1- Cheap Unlimited Plan: US Mobile Unlimited Premium
US Mobile is the only carrier that has figured out how to strike a good balance between price and speed, and their new unlimited plans are the best we’ve seen.
The brand-new Unlimited Premium and Unlimited Basic plans are cheaper than everything else on the market. The Unlimited Premium plan is the most expensive of the two. For just $45 a month for a single line, you get 100GB of 5G data, which will be hard to use up in a single month, as well as access to US Mobile’s mmWave 5G speeds on top of their C-band 5G. In simple terms, this means you’ll get the fastest 5G gigabit speeds where they’re available and the second-fastest speeds elsewhere. Only Verizon and AT&T offer mmWave 5G, and their prices are three times as high as US Mobile’s.
With Unlimited Premium, you also get 50GB of data when you use a hotspot and 10GB of data when you move internationally. If you add more lines to your plan, you can save money. Did we say that all of this cost $45 a month? And if you combine lines into a family plan, you can get each line for as little as $30. And if you want something even cheaper, the Unlimited Basic plan costs only $35/month for a single line and gives you 30GB of 5G data each month. Families with unlimited basic can get this plan for as little as $20 per line.

The OG unlimited plan from Visible just got a lot sweeter, as it dropped from $50/month to just $30/month. This makes it very competitive with rivals like Mint Mobile. The company hasn’t changed any of the great features that make the Visible Plan so appealing. You’ll still get unlimited 4G LTE data, unlimited mobile hotspot, and Verizon’s awesome network. Verizon owns Visible, and Verizon has by far the best service in the country. That means that you can get the same great phone service anywhere in the country for half the price of a regular Verizon plan.
So why did Visible lower the price of this great choice? Because the Visible+ plan is the new kid on the block. For $45 a month, you get all of the benefits of the Visible plan plus access to Verizon’s super-fast 5G ultra wideband network and 50GB of premium high-speed data. Plus, you get more foreign benefits, like unlimited roaming in Mexico and Canada and international texting to more than 200 places.

3- Cheap Unlimited Plan: Mint Mobile Unlimited Plan
Mint Mobile has the best cheap multi-month prepaid plan that we like. Their Unlimited plan only costs $30 per month, but for that low price, you get a lot of benefits. It gives you full access to the following:
- T-Mobile has a great network, and phones that can use 5G can connect to it.
- A good deprioritization level of 40GB (more on this later).
- 10GB of high-speed hotspot data, then endless 2G hotspot after that
- In Canada and Mexico, you can talk and text for free.
Mint has phone deals for 3, 6, and 12 months, and you have to pay for all of them up front. The price of $30 per month is good for the first three months. After that, if you repeat for a full year, you can lock in the same low rate. If you don’t renew, your price will go up to $40/month for the next 3 or 6 months.

Sprint used to have the best cheap plan for a long time, but now that it is fully part of T-Mobile, the Essentials unlimited plan from the Uncarrier is the best. For $60 a month, you can talk, write, and use data as much as you want, and you can connect to as many mobile hotspots as you want (at 3G speeds). You can also talk, write, and use data without having to pay extra in Mexico and Canada.
The only bad things about Essentials are that it doesn’t have as many fun entertainment perks as its sister plan, Magenta, and that taxes and fees aren’t included in the monthly cost, which is also not the case with Magenta. But for such a low price and pretty good network service, it’s hard to go wrong.
