One thing we used to like about T-Mobile was how easy its plans were to understand. The changes between Essentials, Magenta, and Magenta Max were clear, so it was easy to choose the right plan. When Go5G came along, everything changed.

If you look at the table, you’ll see that Magenta and Go5G share a lot. They can both talk, text, and use 100GB of high-speed data for free. Extras like a 6-month trial of Apple TV+ and Netflix Basic stay the same. The only thing that really seems to be different is how much hotspot data you get. Go5G gives you 40GB of hotspot data instead of just 15 GB. If you go to Canada or Mexico, your limit will also go from 5GB to 10 GB.
When considering Go5G Plus and Magneta Max, the same thing holds true. You’ll get the same benefits and services, but you’ll get 50GB of hotspot data instead of 40GB with Max. Those who go to Canada and Mexico will also get 15GB of data instead of 5 GB.
